The Story Behind the Mission
Testimonial Tour Foundation was founded by Derrick Simpson — a man who lived the life many are trying to escape.Derrick was a troubled youth.At just 16 years old, he was sentenced to a juvenile life sentence and served time from age 16 to 21. He spent 4 years in prison.
He was once an ex-gang member.
He was physically abused as a child.
He grew up surrounded by pain, violence, and instability.
But prison was not the end of his story.
It was the turning point.
After release, Derrick made a decision:
He would not let his past define him.
